My Why. My Passion
I became a school counselor not because I had excellent ones growing up, but because I had bad ones. The truth is… although it is the role of your child’s school counselor to advocate and help your child align their coursework with their goals — many counselors are overworked with limited resources. As a veteran school counselor, I witnessed this myself, but I made a powerful decision to change the outcome for our children. I created Student Pathways to empower students to be the best version of themselves and to learn the key skills they need to create academic competitive advantages!
Meet My Team
My name is Teri Lynn Dandy. I am a former high school guidance counselor. I practiced that role for 7 years before becoming an assistant principal. During that time, I gained great experience and success stories to back up the passion I pour into ALL students. Speaking from past experience, the counseling office is truly the hub of the building and there are not enough hours in the day for guidance counselors to give each student the maximum return. My expertise fills this gap, takes the stress off the parents, and guides the student to make the best decisions possible for their future. I look forward to helping students navigate all options to ensure they are successful.
